Here is a glimpse into her artistic journey, how she creates a safe space for expression, and where she finds her inspiration:
🎨 Do you remember the very first painting or musical piece that truly moved you as a child?
"One of the first songs to really move me was probably ‘Breathe’ by Pink Floyd. I remember the sense of peace that the harmonies in this song gave me. Pink Floyd remain one of my favourite bands to this day."
🎭 How do you help a shy student overcome the fear of making a "mistake" on a blank canvas or stage?
"In my lessons, making mistakes is practically a must. We banish the fear of making mistakes by making more mistakes than expected – almost on purpose – and, above all, all together, myself included. Most of the time, that mistake turns into something beautiful and, when it doesn’t, it still becomes a tool for improvement."
🎵 Where do you personally find your creative inspiration when you feel blocked?
"Music has always been my muse. When I feel stuck, I always listen to a bit of music. It helps me both to clear my mind of other thoughts and to imagine and create. Even now, as I answer these questions, I’m listening to music."
💡 If you could travel back in time to your own school days, what advice would you give young Elisabetta?
"What could I say to the Elisabetta of the past? Not much, as I know she’d do as she pleased anyway, and perhaps that’s just as well. I’d just tell her that lots of wonderful experiences await her, but no spoilers!"
🌟 It’s Ms. Elisabetta’s second year with us, and we couldn’t be happier to have her on the team!
